Globalium Zeolith is a PMA-activated volcanic mineral.
Globalium Zeolith is a certified medical product: constant checks assure high quality and effectiveness as a medical device as defined in European Directive 93/42/EEC.
Globalium Zeolith is not a burden for the metabolism since it is not absorbed by the organism and thus will not be metabolized.

Zeolites are natural microporous minerals of volcanic origin.
Chemically speaking, they are hydrated aluminosilicate minerals of alkaline metals and metals of alkaline earths. In mineralogy, a distinction is made between several subgroups of zeolites.
Clinoptilolites are one of those subgroups. Terrestric clinoptilolite is the most commonly used form regarding medical purposes.
The “zeolite” derives its name from the Greek words “zeo” = “to boil”
and “lithos” = “stone”, hence meaning “rock that boils”.
This has to do with the fact that when heated, zeolites expel bound water without changing the aluminosilicate structure and appear to “boil”.
The crystal grids of zeolites consist of SiO4 and AlO4 tetrahedrons, bound together by oxygen bridges.
These complex framework structures enclose regular cavities of pore sizes of 4 angstroms. The crystal grids contain cations, such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium and others, as well as water molecules.
Due to this structure, zeolites have an exceptionally large specific surface of approx. 1000 square metres per 1 gram zeolite.
There are more than 100 different zeolite types, which can be grouped into those of a fibrous, lamellar and equant habit. Due to its excellent properties, clinoptilolite, whose crystals have a lamellar form, has over the years proved to be the most suitable zeolite for use in human medicine.
